I provide both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. You are welcome to participate in either option, or a mixture of both, depending on your circumstances and preferences.

 
 

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Often referred to as talk therapy, therapy is a collaborative process between the client and me to facilitate change. We explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors in these sessions, which ideally lead to new understanding and growth. Sessions typically start out weekly, and are 50-55 minutes in length.

COUPLES THERAPY

I work with couples to strengthen specific areas of their relationship and improve quality of communication. We often slow things down and examine the interpersonal dynamics and issues that keep them from connecting in the ways that they want to and that draw them closer together. Couples sessions are also 50-55 minutes and will often involve occassional individual sessions with each partner to help enhance the couples work.

consultation + WORKSHOPS

I offer individual supervision or case consultation to other therapists, and can also facilitate small group workshops on various mental health topics. Workshop rates depend on group size, scope and time requirements.

 

Getting Started

The first few therapy sessions focus on getting acquainted and identifying your therapy goals. If you have questions about the process or my approach prior to scheduling a session, Iā€™m happy to do a 10-15 minute phone consultation to answer any questions you may have and determine if working together feels like a good fit for you! I typically recommend that clients begin with weekly sessions when possible, as that pace tends to be the most effective and efficient, but will also consider all relevant factors when making recommendations for the course of therapy.
